Automatic self-cleaning filter is a vertical electric brush or scraper filter, with optional shell materials of carbon steel and stainless steel 304 or 316, and optional filter screen materials of 304 or 316 stainless steel. It is highly efficient and corrosion-resistant, suitable for harsh environments, high oil content, and high water fouling loads.

The Self Cleaning Process: Cleaning of the filter is carried out by the brush which spirals across the screen; The Drain Valve opens and the Motor rotates the stainless steel brushes which sweep the inner surface of the cylindrical screen. The particles trapped on the screen are dislodged by the brushes and flushed out the drain valve. During the self cleaning process, which takes between 30 seconds,filtered water continues to flow downstream.
